Miley Cyrus was a woman on a mission during her recent trip to Germany. The platinum-haired pop star spent most of her time doing interviews and promotional appearances, but she still wanted a taste of the nightlife in Frankfurt. A very specific taste of the nightlife.
In the video below, Cyrus asks photographers capturing her arrival in the German city if there are “any good tranny bars” in the area. Apparently unsatisfied, Cyrus asked an interviewer later to recommend a “weird ass club” for her and her friends to visit.
Cyrus is probably not hip to the fact that “tranny” is considered a derogatory slur by many in the LGBT community, as Lance Bass eloquently noted in a piece for the Huffington Post a few years back. But maybe it doesn’t have the same connotation in Germany, or something.
