Pop princess Miley Cyrus recently admitted she's ready for her closely-cropped locks to start growing out, and a new report claims the singer could be keen to ditch her new 'do for the sake of her fiancé Liam Hemsworth!
Just last week, Miley admitted to her good pal Kelly Osbourne in a segment on E! Fashion Police: ''I'm secretly tugging on it every night and taking [hair growth vitamin supplement] Viviscal, I'm not going to lie. But I'm going to rock it while I have it."
Now, a source has told HollywoodLife that part of the reason she wants her long locks back is that “Liam likes long hair.”
The source continued: “He thinks Miley’s beautiful no matter what and he’s not going around telling her how to wear her hair but she has said that he likes her longer hair better.”
Miley debuted her bleached blonde pixie cut in August of last year and has undergone a massive style transformation ahead of the release of her new solo album, BANGERZ.
Miley will be performing her smash hit single We Can't Stop at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, which will air on MTV UK from 8pm on Monday August 26.
