Producer Sean Garrett has seemingly confirmed that Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears have recorded music together.
Garrett – who has worked with Cyrus on her new album Bangerz – described the collaboration as “nuts” in a tweet sent earlier today (August 25).
The ‘We Can’t Stop’ singer has previously teased a collaboration with her “dream artist” on her new LP but has yet to confirm their identity.
She told Germany’s KISS FM: “I have my, like, dream person on my record but I can’t tell you. If I tell you then I have to kill you, and I don’t wanna do that because I like you, and you gotta tell me all the clubs I gotta go to so I can’t tell you.”
She revealed that the artist is a “female” but could not be drawn on further details.

Bangerz will be Cyrus’s fourth studio album and will be released in the UK on October 7 and a day later in the US. Lead single ‘We Can’t Stop’ scored the star her first UK number one single earlier this month.
Fans can download new track ‘Wrecking Ball’ now if they pre-order the record on iTunes ahead of release.
