Miley Leaves The Crowd Wanting More, More, More After Her Pyrotastic “Rebel Yell” Performance

Yesterday afternoon, we presented to you with 5 Reasons Why Miley Cyrus Was Born To Cover Billy Idol. At only 20 years old, Miley Cyrus was not even born when the sneertastic Billy Idol first released “Rebel Yell” in 1983, but it’s safe to say that after last night’s explosive performance on VH1 DIVAS, the song belongs to her now! (At least for tonight, that is…)

Miley came out wearing an ensemble clearly inspired by the British punk/pop legend: Black leather jacket and pants, each adorned with the metal studs that Idol was rarely seen without. It goes without saying that Cyrus showed off way more midriff than Billy ever did, but hey, SHE’S JUST BEING MILEY! As she wrapped her pyro-laden performance, she said “That was for you, Lila,” paying tribute to her puppy that sadly died earlier this week. In a moment you didn’t see on TV, she came off the stage with her fists pumped screaming “YEAH BITCHES!!!"
